Child Sexual Abuse and POCSO Awareness Session

Child Sexual Abuse and POCSO Awareness Session was conducted on 29 July 2026 at the College Auditorium under The Rakshin Project. The programme was conducted in association with Sakshi NGO, with Arjun Gopal V and Aleena Susan Sabu, trainers from Sakshi NGO, leading the session. The interactive awareness programme focused on the prevention of child sexual abuse, child safety, consent, equality, cybercrime, trauma, and the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. The trainers also discussed different forms of child sexual abuse and the importance of recognising, preventing, and responding appropriately to such situations. The session provided participants with valuable knowledge and awareness, contributing to the creation of a safer and more informed environment for children.
