Patron's Day Celebration – St. Jacob's Day 2026

The college joyfully celebrated Patron's Day (St. Jacob's Day) on 25 July 2026 with a solemn Holy Mass held in the college chapel. The solemn Holy Mass celebration was graciously led by His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Thomas J. Netto, Metropolitan Archbishop of the Latin Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram, making the occasion a spiritually enriching experience for the entire college community. The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp, symbolizing the light of faith and wisdom. The Holy Mass was attended by the Manager, Principal, Vice Principal, faculty members and students who gathered to seek the blessings and intercession of St. Jacob, the patron saint of the institution. During his sermon, His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Thomas J. Netto delivered a profound and inspiring message based on the Scripture: "Those who sow in tears shall reap with songs of joy." He reminded the faithful that only those who labour with dedication truly earn the right to experience the joy of success. Emphasising the value of hard work, perseverance and faith, he encouraged everyone to remain steadfast in their efforts, assuring them that every sacrifice made with sincerity and commitment will, in God's time, bear abundant and joyful fruit. His words served as a source of spiritual motivation for the student teachers as they prepare for their future vocation as educators. The celebration concluded with prayers of thanksgiving, followed by a festive lunch that provided an opportunity for fellowship and joyful interaction among all who attended.
